Episode Transcript
Today is June 28, 2024. Evolus, Inc. has just taken a big step forward with their latest submission to the U. S. Food and Drug Administration. The company’s two new dermal fillers, Evolysse™ Lift and Evolysse™ Smooth, are designed to treat nasolabial folds, better known as “smile lines.”
In a pivotal study, 140 patients tested these fillers. Each patient received one of the Evolysse™ products in one side of their face, directly compared to Restylane-L on the other side. The results are promising. Evolysse™ fillers not only matched but outperformed Restylane-L at the six-month mark. That’s impressive news for anyone considering treatments for smile lines.
Evolysse™ Lift aims to be a go-to solution for facial wrinkles and folds, while Evolysse™ Smooth will offer a softer alternative. This move is part of Evolus’ strategy to broaden its range, complementing their existing U.S. offerings and their European Estyme® line.
